Life Updates!

First and foremost: I'm writing again! 🎉

I'm about a third of the way through the book I'm working on, but the words are flowing and the story is moving! It also underwent a new retitling (formerly called A Realm of Iron and Deceit) as well as a new cover change, but I'll share more about that in the upcoming months.

For now, I mostly wanted to share two kinds of big life updates:

#1: My kiddo, our cat dante, and I finally moved into our own place! We still have some unpacking to do, but otherwise it's starting to feel like a cozy little refuge and home!

#2: I'm 22 weeks pregnant!!

PLOT TWIST: the baby isn't mine thought 😅

I'm a gestational carrier right now! Meaning I'm just providing the habitat for another family's little flower to bloom. 😊

The family and I were paired together back in September 2023, and I couldn't have been luckier because they are the kindest, most thoughtful, and supportive couple ever. Which I've needed because the first trimester of this pregnancy was ROUGH...

I won't bore you with the details, but I just wanted readers to know what's been going on and why I've been so absent, and let you know that I'm finally coming back up for air! The last couple of weeks, I've started to return to a modicum of normalcy, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into this story and reconnecting with readers again. 💙🩵
