Shadow Crusade Flash Sale!
With a new release coming next month, I thought I'd celebrate with a little something special 😋
The entire Primordials of Shadowthorn series is on sale for $0.99 (each book)!
A half-demon fighting to survive.
A huntress training to slay.
Fate will bring them together. A curse could tear them apart.
When horrifying monsters kill Halira's and Dimitri's families, they join the Shadow Crusade, a legion of warriors tasked with destroying demonkind.
Together, they plan to avenge their families, or die trying. That is, until Halira meets the roguish half-demon responsible for killing her parents and discovers that perhaps there's more to demonkind than she's been told.
Can she be the savior her country needs? Or will the allure of dark forces thrust her into the shadows?
Grab the whole set here while you can! This sale ends April 22nd, 2024!

A Realm of Iron and Deceit Update!
I've mentioned before how much of a BEAST this series is, and I can't express enough how much time I'm having to put into the worldbuilding, plotting, revising, etc. just to make sure everything is cohesive and makes sense 😅
Last month, I realized my usual methods for tracking magical items, creatures, plants, etc. weren't working and that I needed something a little more easily-accessed, something visual to reference as I'm writing, so I don't forget anything.
So this month, I've been working on a special map:
As you can see, this is just a close-up of Vallonde and part of Xira, but even from this small close-up, you can get the idea of what I've been working on!
I'm using bloody crowns to mark where the cursed monarchs are located (I'm not telling you who's who tho 😉 ) and those gold laurels represent fallen heroes of the past—I don't actually know if they come into play at all yet, I just like having them on the map because it's a visual queue for me about the history of these places.
Monsters and magical creatures are noted by big capital letters—for example, in Vallonde they have the Scourge (that horde of huge locusts, scorpions, and other critters that stampeded through capitol when the sun went down shudders). They also have the cinders, a new creature conjured from the curse at the end of A Delicate Betrayal! 🤫
The smaller text is for noteworthy resources like the inkspill flowers Darius mentioned in the last book, and another flower called queen's tears.
This map is still a work in progress and I'll likely keep adding to it as the story develops, but it's already been hugely helpful as a reference, and immensely fun to create! 😋 Let me know if you'd like to see other regions!
